TaiG 2.1.2 officially released to jailbreak iOS 8.3

It’s here, ladies and gentlemen. After a few files got leaked last night, TaiG has come back today with the official version of its jailbreak tool for iOS 8.3. The tool, which is dubbed as version 2.1.2, is for Windows only and features proper Cydia Substrate support. We expect the TaiG team to release an update for TaiG 8.1.3 – iOS 8.x Untether package on Cydia, which will allow users who have jailbroken their devices with TaiG 2.0.0 jailbreak tool, so you don’t have to re-jailbreak your device. The update should be available via TaiG’s official repo. However, the jailbreak package wasn’t available at the time of writing this update. Download TaiG 2.1.2 jailbreak Great. Here is how to install this. deb file manually and get Cydia Substrate working:

• First Open Cydia and install iFile.
• Then once iFile is installed, close up Cydia from multitasking switcher.
• Next Open taiguntether83x.debfile in Safari for iOS 8.3.
• Now you can obtain this .deb file in iFile by means of Safari by tapping on “Open in iFile”.
• Then Install it from iFile.
• Last reboot your iOS 8.3 device.
